Leadership Team

Niccole Ranz, FNP–BC

Niccole Ranz founded In Home Medical Group (IHMG) in 2010 with the goal to deliver quality, proactive healthcare to patients by leveraging the medical expertise of Advanced Practice Nurses. As a practicing Nurse Practitioner for more than 15 years, Ranz has a broad depth of experience in geriatrics, dementia care, oncology and women’s health. She employed that expertise in developing the services of IHMG, which focus on a holistic approach to treating and managing the complex needs of patients across a variety of settings.

Under Ranz’s leadership, the IHMG model has delivered on its promise of better patient outcomes and reduced healthcare expenses. Working with health plans, Ranz has developed and implemented pilot programs for managing high-risk populations which have reduced unnecessary hospital readmissions and ER visits by 50 percent. She designed a gero-psychiatric service to meet a grossly underserved need, which has been successfully implemented in more than 25 locations. Additionally, Ranz has served in a consulting role for a variety of facilities, reviewing processes and procedures, training staff, ensuring regulatory compliance and helping design and implement facility-wide improvements to manage care.

Ranz is a thought leader in the healthcare industry, and has been called on to speak at a variety of industry events and seminars, including the Illinois Society for Advance Practice Nursing. Ranz continues to work with her team at IHMG, care facilities and health plans to reframe the way patients, families, primary care providers, hospitals and health plans work together to assess, manage and deliver the best care.
